A note from the founder

Why I started Fixamotor

When my own car needed work in Poland, I went looking for a simple way to compare repair prices from local garages. It didn’t exist. The only option was to call around, explain the problem again and again, and still not know whether the price was fair.

I needed a service like this, and I was sure plenty of other drivers did too. So I decided to bring it to market: one request, itemized quotes from nearby shops, and a clear choice — no phone calls, no obligation.

We’re just getting started, and I’d genuinely like to hear what you think. If something could be better, write to us — I read the messages.

Every quote lists parts and labour line by line, so you can see exactly what you’re paying for.

If a job will cost more than quoted, the shop must ask you first. Extra work needs your approval.

Shops reach you through messages on your request. No spam calls, and we never sell your data.

Garages pay only when they win a job — no subscriptions, no paying for clicks or leads that go nowhere.

How we make money

Free for drivers. A small fee when shops win.

No ads, no selling data, no cut of your repair bill. Shops pay one flat fee when a driver books them — and nothing otherwise.

Fees exclude VAT. They’re invoiced by Softalake Oy (Finland) under the EU reverse-charge rule: with a valid EU VAT number, no Finnish VAT is added and you account for VAT yourself.
